A new chapter in life...
Creating new possibilities for how you feel, respond and move forward.
The CE method - Personalised therapy and change work, at a deeper level
The CE Method is Camilla’s own approach to in-depth, individually tailored therapeutic changework.
It focuses on emotions, self-image, learned reactions and behavioural patterns – and on helping you move towards the way you would rather feel, respond and act.
You do not need to know why you feel the way you do, explain everything perfectly, or consciously revisit every detail of a difficult experience.
The work begins with what is happening for you now and the change you would like to experience.
A private space for meaningful change – with the work centred on you.
Calm. Comfortable. Personal. Private. Individually adapted.
WHAT MAKES CE METHOD DIFFERENT
A therapeutic metod with its own core
The CE Method has been developed and refined through more than 15 years of experience in hypnotherapy and therapeutic changework. It is not a standard script, and it is not another name for hypnotherapy.
It has its own protected core process and is adapted to the individual rather than asking every client to follow the same route.
The method works with the wider pattern surrounding a response. This may include emotions, self-image, learned fears, triggers, body awareness, subconscious associations and established ways of reacting.
Focused inner attention is often enough to begin the work.
Hypnosis, CBT-informed principles and other therapeutic approaches may also be included when they support a clear purpose within the individual process, but they do not define the CE Method itself.
Many changes can take place without the client needing to consciously analyse or understand every part of the process.
At other stages, the client participates more actively through imagination, feelings, visualisation and mental rehearsal.
You remain aware, involved and in control throughout the session.
The guiding principle:
The previous automatic response is explored and processed, a meaningful alternative is created, and the new way of responding is practised and reinforced.
A CLEAR, INDIVIDUAL PROCESS
Verkliga berättelser. Verkliga förändringar.
Läs ett urval av klienters personliga berättelser och upptäck vad som kan bli möjligt när ett individuellt anpassat terapiarbete skapar förändring på djupet.
ANALYZE THE RESPONSE
We explore what happens now and what you would prefer instead.
FOLLOW THE PATTERN TRIGGERS, FEELINGS
With eyes closed you notice the trigger, feeling or response in the body
CORE CE METHOD CHANGEWORK
We work indirectly with the connected emotional pattern - without reliving every detail.
BUILD NEW RESPONSE
Visualisation, felt experience and mental rehearsal help reinforce the preferred pattern
THE OVERALL STRUCTURE
How the CE Method works - A clear structured therapy, adapted entirely to the individual
The process has a clear direction while remaining flexible enough to meet you as an individual. You remain informed, involved and in control throughout.
A careful starting point
We begin by exploring what is happening, what tends to activate the response and what you would prefer to experience instead. This analysis gives the work a clear direction and helps ensure that the session remains connected to your personal goal.
You do not need to know exactly when the pattern began or why it developed before the work can start.
Following the feeling and the pattern
You may simply sit comfortably, close your eyes and bring your attention to the feeling, trigger or bodily response. A formal hypnotic induction is not required. This focused inner attention allows the work to begin and the pattern to be followed, including exploring where the emotional or behavioural response appears to have developed.
The purpose is not to search for a predetermined event or to establish that every detail of a memory is historically exact. The focus is on the emotional learning and associations connected to the response that exists today.
The core CE method - changework
Once a relevant connection or pattern emerges, the protected core of the CE Method is used to work with the connected emotional learning.
The process can reach beyond what you are consciously able to explain and may work through several connected experiences or layers.
The changework is often indirect and may use metaphor, imagery and structured subconscious processes. You do not normally need to describe, analyse or consciously relive every difficult detail for the work to move forward.
Creating and reinforcing the desired response
Processing an old response is of outmost importance, but there are still elements left. The next step is to give the mind and body a meaningful alternative.
Visualisation, suggestion, felt experience and mental rehearsal are used to help you develop, practise and reinforce the way you would prefer to feel, respond and act. This supports the new response so that the previous automatic pattern is less likely to remain the only familiar option.
From there, the work turns towards possibility: gently processing the connected emotional pattern and helping you develop a new way of feeling, responding and acting that better supports the life you want to live.
Does the CE Method require hypnosis?
No. The CE Method does not require formal hypnosis.
You can sit comfortably, close your eyes and notice the feeling or response within you. This focused inner attention may be all that is needed to begin following the pattern and carry out the core CE changework.
Hypnosis may still be used when it supports deeper relaxation, visualisation, focused attention or communication through ideomotor signals. It is one possible therapeutic tool rather than a requirement or the defining feature of the CE Method.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TALK TOO MUCH OR FIND THE "RIGHT" WORDS
The work begins with what is happening for you now
and what change you would like to change going forward
INDIVIDUALLY SELECTED
Other methods are added when they have a purpose
After the core CE changework, Camilla may add elements from other therapeutic approaches according to your individual needs and goal.
These may include hypnotherapy, CBT-informed principles, Parts Therapy, Gestalt-informed work, Inner Child work, Havening Techniques, Soul Centered Therapy and the Simpson Protocol.
These approaches complement the CE Method. They do not replace or define its core.
A response may also be connected to several situations, experiences or layers. The work can therefore progress in stages rather than following an identical route or number of sessions for everyone.
Your role in the process
During some parts of the process, you may simply rest, notice and follow the guidance.
During other parts, you may take a more active role by using imagination, feeling and intention to show what you would like to experience instead.
The level of conscious participation can therefore vary during the session.
The work is adapted to YOU and to what is most useful at each stage.
Working with the origin of a behaviour or feeling – without having to relive everything
At times, Camilla uses hypnotherapeutic techniques to follow a feeling, trigger or bodily response back to an earlier experience or point at which the pattern appears to have developed.
This can help identify how an automatic emotional or behavioural response was learned.
Once a relevant connection emerges, the CE Method allows the changework to continue indirectly. Through metaphor, imagery and structured subconscious processes, the client does not normally need to examine, describe or consciously relive every detail.
The experience can be acknowledged without making the client relive difficult traumas.
This is an important distinction within the CE Method: the origin of a pattern may be explored, while the actual changework can take place alongside it in a gentler and more indirect way.
From there, the work turns towards possibility: gently processing the connected emotional pattern and helping the client develop a new way of feeling, responding and acting that better supports the life they want to live.
An Individually adapted process
Emotional patterns can have several layers. A similar reaction may have been connected to different situations, experiences or triggers over time.
For this reason, the work may progress in stages. What becomes relevant during one session may lead to another aspect of the pattern being explored later.
There is no expectation that every client should respond in the same way or follow an identical number of sessions. The process is adapted as the work develops, and individual experiences and outcomes vary.
Throughout the session, you remain aware and in control. You can speak, ask questions, pause or stop at any time.
COULD THE CE METHOD BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
Begin with what you would like to change
You may know exactly what you want to change, or you may simply recognise that a feeling, reaction or pattern is limiting you in everyday life.
You do not need to understand the whole pattern before getting in touch. It is enough if you are open and curious to a change.
We can begin with what you notice now, how it affects you and what you would like to experience instead.
