Rewire the mind - Calm the storm

Find calm, think clearer - and feel lighter, from the inside out.

If life has felt like constant pressure, restless nights, or a heavy weight that never quite lifts - you’re far from alone.
Modern stress, expectations, and old emotional patterns can keep the body in “alert mode,” even when nothing is wrong right now. By addressing the root causes rather than just the symptoms, hypnotherapy helps you restore balance, build resilience, and reconnect with a sense of peace and control in your life.

At CE-Hypnosis, we use gentle, science-based hypnotherapy to help you shift how your mind and body respond to stress and emotional overload - a natural complement to what you already do for your wellbeing.

Hypnosis does not replace medical care. It’s an additional, skills-based way to re-train automatic responses to reduce reactivity.
If you are in acute crisis (self-harm risk, unmanaged psychosis, deep depression, suicidal ideation) then please ensure you are in safe, medical/psychological care instead.

What can CE-hypnosis help address?

Depression

If you’ve been searching for hypnotherapy for depression, autumn depression or winter depression, burnout recovery, hypnosis for exhaustion, or natural ways to lift mild depression, you’re in the right place.

Through gentle, evidence-based hypnotherapy, you’ll learn how to rebalance your energy, calm the nervous system, and regain focus - even after periods of stress, overwork, or emotional fatigue.

We work on reducing overwhelm, quieting inner pressure, and re-awakening balance so your system can recover naturally and stay resilient and slowly find your way back.

Frustration and anger

Feel steady, think clearer – even when life tests your patience. If you find yourself snapping too quickly, feeling irritated, or replaying situations long after they’ve passed - you’re not alone.

Daily stress, pressure, or unprocessed emotions can build up over time, until even small things trigger a strong reaction.

At CE-Hypnosis, we use calm, skills-based hypnotherapy to help you shift the inner patterns that fuel frustration and anger - giving you more space to choose how you want to respond.

What if just a few hypnotherapy sessions could help you feel calmer, think more clearly, and regain your balance - even when life gets intense?

Worry, fears and anxiety

If worries, fears, or abnormal anxiety have started to limit what you do - you’re not alone.

Whether it’s social situations, or that sudden rush of fear or anxiety for no clear reason, these reactions often come from deeply learned patterns that the body still believes are keeping you safe.

At CE-Hypnosis, we use gentle, skills-based hypnotherapy to help you re-train those responses - so your system learns that calm and safety can co-exist.

What if just a few hypnotherapy sessions could help you feel more confident, relaxed, and free to enjoy situations that once felt difficult?

Why hypnotherapy for depression (mild), grief, anxiety and anger ?

Because sometimes, when the mind has been “on” for too long, talking about stress isn’t enough -  the body needs to feel calm again.
Hypnotherapy gently helps the nervous system reset, guiding you from chronic alertness and overthinking into states of genuine rest, balance, and recovery.
With hypnotherapy, you can gently retrain your mind and body to create calmer interpretations and softer physical reactions, so everyday triggers feel less overwhelming and far more manageable.

How hypnotherapy helps
  • Restores energy and focus - by calming the overactive “fight-or-flight” response and allowing natural repair processes to restart.

  • Rebalances mood - targeted suggestions help reduce self-criticism and hopelessness while strengthening motivation and emotional steadiness.

  • Reduces physical stress load - many notice lower tension, better sleep, and easier breathing after only a few sessions.

  • Addresses root patterns - instead of treating symptoms only on the conscious level, hypnotherapy works with the subconscious habits that keep stress and fatigue looping.

  • Supports sustainable recovery - through deep relaxation and guided mental rehearsal, you learn how to switch from survival mode into restoration, even in daily life.

  • Helps effectively with grief and sorrow - through several effective methods, the grief turns into calm memories and acceptance helping you gently forward in life but quicker.

In short

Hypnotherapy provides the missing bridge between mind and body - teaching your system how to rest, recover, and rebuild.
For many people with burnout, exhaustion, negative emotions, worry, grief or mild depression, it offers a practical way to regain clarity, motivation, and a steadier emotional baseline - not by pushing harder, but by allowing recovery to happen naturally yet swifter.

Autumn and winter depression changed

Every year, as autumn came along and the days turned grayer and rainier, I would sink into a profound autumn and winter depression. It felt like all my energy vanished, and I lost my drive. Despite trying vitamins and light lamps, they didn't make much of a difference.

However, to my surprise, whatever Camilla does has been incredible in changing this.

After just a few sessions with her, I started to notice a significant shift. I gradually felt more energetic and happier. It was as if a heavy burden had been lifted off my shoulders, and I regained my energy, even during the dark days. I don't think people understand how difficult and almost paralyzing it is to become so depressed when autumn arrives.

The impact of what she has done has been so positive and powerful that it has affected my entire life. What a difference!

I must admit I was skeptical that this would work, but on the recommendation of others, I had nothing to lose. I can say that my attitude has completely changed; the results speak for themselves, regardless of what one believes or not.

Camilla is dedicated, warm, and understanding, and the therapy is also comfortably relaxing, making it easy to look forward to. For anyone struggling with mood swings or depression during certain seasons, I highly recommend Camilla.

Finally free from my Trauma

I haven't really landed quite yet after the amazing hypnosis experience I had with you Camilla. If someone had told me before I came to you that I would release a person from my childhood who for many years made my life a senseless hell and which I have had scars from even in my adult life, I would laugh right out and protested completely wildly and angry. And yet this was exactly what happened under your skilled work. I can just barely grasp it. I have hated and abhorred that person all my life. Haven't even been able to take the person's name in my mouth. And now ... its gone and I feel this release. And it feels so nice, I feel lighter inside, like a heavy burden has disappeared in me.

I am the one who feels so much better.

You worked in several areas during the extra long session using ´hypnotherapy ... weight loss ... psoriasis ... arthritis ... some blockages. I admire your approach. You brought me through different situations softly, carefully, and skilled.

I really feel such trust in your professional work Camilla, and I am extremely pleased and looking forward the next time I see you.
When I went home, I found myself feeling so light. Went to a big shoppingmall to shop and noticed that I was moving so easily. A funny yet such a nice feeling.

A simple thank you, feels inadequate in this context, But you should know my thank you comes straight and deeply from my heart. I am overwhelmed by what you already have done, with only session, and how much it has helped me Camilla. A Thousand thanks!!

Pain and depression

Found camilla and we had a quick chat. I thought about it for a while and decided…. Why not try hypnosis.

I have recurrent depression and have eaten antidepressants for 14 years. But my idea was to do something about the depression instead of lifelong medication. I had a session yesterday!
I wasn’t scared, but curious and felt more like - finally!

Some old grudges came up that Camilla helped me change. Thanks!

Today it is easier to breathe, it feels like I lost several more kilos of burden that I unwillingly dragged on since childhood. I'm not done yet, and I'm looking forward to another session with Camilla. She was right for me, it felt good and I was perfectly safe.

And afterwards ... a little puzzled ... Usually every morning have pelvic pain. Get blocks there. But …… ..today I have no pain in the pelvis at all.

It works!! Hugs!

What does an Hypnotherapy session look like?

Working together at CE-Hypnosis is gentle, professional, and personal. You remain in control at all times - aware, and safe.

1. Conversation & mapping:
We explore your story, typical triggers (i.e emotions, frustrations, headache, anger or exhaustion) stressors, and view possible short term goals and longterm goals (without stress or pressure).

2. Guided hypnotic relaxation:
You remain aware and in charge while the body settles into a receptive state many describe as “comfortable, rested but focused.” Which also is very healthy for your mind.

3. The therapy work:
From the mapping (the therapy work itself) to using many different tools to make changes whilst you are comfortable relaxed. The main focus in the beginning is to not create more stress when burnt out, but gently remove each layer so that your slowly gain more energy, strength and resilience. For anger management and worry, fears and phobias it is a faster process.

4. Response re-learning:
We use targeted suggestions and sensory imagery to re-pair familiar triggers with calmer interpretations, so your system practices staying steady.

5. Visualization & suggestive support:
Visuals (e.g. different scenarios) and suggestions are used to reinforce new response patterns.

6. Homework between sessions or sensory exercises depending on your energy level and memory:

Short home practices help you reinforce change to help your brain and your body in a slow pace. Adding personalised tips when ready.

7. Follow-up:
Measure what’s changing, and optimize your path forward in the right pace (not stress).

While conscious, talk-based therapy works mainly through rational understanding and discussion, hypnotherapy engages both the conscious and subconscious mind - the part of you that runs emotional, automatic, and habitual responses.

This difference often makes change feel faster, deeper, and more natural.

Finally free from trauma and instead new health improvement

I met Camilla through her sister. It was an unexpected experience & an amazing blessing to enter my life!

I had been feeling stuck & struggling with a lot of situations & body issues in my life & through hypnotherapy we were able to do unravelling with a person in life who had been impacting my current life heavily in a very negative way. We were able cut "emotional cords" & bring forward other reasons and body/health situations to do a positive change also.

Since these changes I have felt so much lighter & liberated in my whole being!

I feel like a wonderfully different person & my body can function a lot better.

I highly recommend Camilla’s services to help you through challenging situations that you haven’t been able to overcome or find resolutions to.

Much love

I finally found my way back to life again from exhaustion

I was in such a bad state that even making food for my kids felt impossible. As soon as they left for school, I’d collapse into bed - completely drained - and when they came home, I tried to put on a brave face for a few hours.

I’d tried everything that was suggested - medication, therapy, vitamins, even forcing myself out for walks - but nothing worked. I wasn’t really living anymore. My memory, focus, and energy were almost gone, and even driving felt overwhelming. It wasn’t a depression as much as total exhaustion from years of pressure and other reasons.

It took time, but with Camilla’s warmth, patience, and gentle guidance, and by doing the homework she gave me - I slowly began to heal within. As the emotional layers lifted, my energy slowly returned. I could start walking again, think, laugh, and be there for and with my family.

Today, I feel calm, strong, and alive - no longer just surviving.
Camilla truly made the difference. My family and I are endlessly grateful.

Help with my grief

Losing my mum, with whom I shared an incredibly close bond, created such a deep pain and left me in pieces, especially since I was waiting on a call from her that never came through. This missed call evolved into a significant source of sadness and regret for me.

I turned to Camilla, my therapist. Her empathy, warmth and understanding provided a safe space for me to unravel my feelings. She approached my situation guiding my grief, turning it into a process of acceptance and inner peace.

Camilla’s support was more than just helpful; she was a guiding light showing me how to appreciate the memories and love I have for my mother while helping me to step forward. I'm incredibly thankful for the peace and resolution I've found through our session together.

If you're struggling with grief, I truly recommend you to seek support like I did with Camilla.

My grief turned into inner peace

I have been carrying a deep grief for over five years, which made each funeral I attended a very painful experience where I cried a lot (sometimes uncontrollably). I was skeptical that anything could help, but decided to try a session with Camilla.

To my surprise, her therapy led to significant relief throughout my whole being. Camilla's guidance softened my painful memories into warmer recollections where I could look back appreciating the memories, just as she said.

This help has allowed me to attend funerals and support others without being overwhelmed by my own grief anymore. But it has also helped me appreciate more in my own life. I have found inner peace.

A big, heartfelt thank you to Camilla for the support and guidance she provided me. I wholeheartedly recommend her.

What the studies and research say

Modern research supports what many clients already experience — that hypnosis can help calm the mind, lower stress reactions, and support emotional and by that, impact physical recovery.
It works by engaging both the conscious and subconscious mind, helping the body’s natural regulation systems return to balance.

Hypnotherapy is not a replacement for medical or psychological care - but when combined, it can accelerate healing, restore calm, and build resilience. It’s an evidence-supported way to reconnect with balance, energy, and inner stability — especially during recovery from anxiety, burnout, or mild to medium depression.

  • Reduces anxiety and stress:
A 2019 meta-analysis found that hypnosis reduced anxiety more effectively than 79% of control treatments, with even stronger results when combined with other therapies.

  • Supports recovery from depression:
Clinical trials show hypnotherapy can reduce depressive symptoms about as effectively as traditional talk-based methods, and it enhances results when used alongside therapy.

  • Eases burnout and exhaustion symptoms:
Hypnosis promotes deep relaxation, improves sleep quality, and helps reset the nervous system — reducing the physical and mental load from long-term stress.

  • Recognised by major institutions:
The American Psychological Association highlights hypnosis as beneficial for pain, anxiety, depression, and sleep when delivered by trained professionals.

  • Helps mind–body regulation:
Studies on gut-directed hypnosis for IBS and stress-related conditions show improved comfort, focus, and resilience — outcomes driven by the mind–body connection.
