Empowering women to restore balance
- physically and emotionally

Every stage of a woman’s life brings change - from the rhythm of monthly cycles to pregnancy, birth, menopause and everything in between. These transitions aren’t just physical; they touch emotions, energy, confidence and connection and can also add physical challenges.

At CE-Hypnosis, Camilla E offers a gentle, way to support women through each of these phases.

Hypnotherapy helps calm the nervous system, balance emotional responses and release stored tension that often shows up as pain, mood swings, anxiety or fatigue. Whether it’s easing PMS or period pain, soothing menopause symptoms, supporting post-partum recovery, reducing morning sickness, rebuilding self-esteem, or helping with breastfeeding stress, the therapy methods used provides tools that empower women from within. It’s not about forcing change - it’s about helping your mind and body work together again, make changes naturally and not miss out on things unnecessarily.

At CE-Hypnosis, we use gentle, hypnotherapy to help you shift how your mind and body respond to changes that work better for you - a natural complement to what you already do for your wellbeing.

Hypnosis does not replace medical care. It’s an additional, skills-based way to re-train automatic responses to reduce reactivity.
If you are in acute crisis (self-harm risk, unmanaged psychosis, deep depression, suicidal ideation) then please ensure you are in safe, medical/psychological care instead.

What can CE-hypnosis help address?

PMS and Period pain

If each month brings mood swings, bloating, cramps or frustration, you’re not alone.

Hypnotherapy can help you change how your nervous system responds to the symptoms - less tension, fewer emotional spikes, minimise bleeding, more ease and for some that need pain management, so that you can enjoy your day better..

Perhaps just a few sessions could help you too, to move through your cycle with more balance and less disruption?

Many women have already been helped.

Morning sickness, Post-partum depression, breastfeeding

Morning sickness - If nausea, aversion or fatigue make early pregnancy harder than it needs to be, you’re far from alone. Hypnotherapy supports your body’s natural rhythm and reduces the “alarm system” response that amplifies nausea.

Breastfeeding your baby is intimate, powerful - and sometimes stressful, full of worry, physical challenges and emotional confusion. There are tricks and ways to aid this. Hypnotherapy helps you reduce stress-based barriers (let-down, discomfort, self-critique) and support calmer, more confident feeding moments.

Postpartum - Baby blues
Welcoming a baby is joyful - yet many new mothers also face sadness, bewilderedness, guilt, exhaustion, anxiety or low self-esteem. It can also go further and become a more depressed state and disconnection with your baby. Read more here

In our sessions you’ll learn subconscious tools to soothe emotional overwhelm, rebuild confidence and reconnect with your role as a mother and as you in a gentle way.

Menopause

Hot flashes, night sweats, mood shifts, changed sleep patterns - this phase can feel like a constant challenge.

We use hypnotherapy to retrain your internal thermostat, soothe emotional reactivity and help you meet this transition with calm and resilience.

What if just a few sessions could give you steadier sleep, fewer disruptive flashes and a stronger sense of self beyond the change?

Why hypnotherapy to aid women's health

Women’s bodies and minds are deeply connected - hormones, emotions, and nervous-system responses constantly influence one another.
When stress, tension, or emotional load build up, the body can amplify pain, disrupt sleep, and trigger mood swings or nausea.

Hypnotherapy works by calming this mind-body feedback loop.

How hypnotherapy helps

Through guided relaxation and focused suggestion, the nervous system shifts from “fight-or-flight” into “rest-and-restore.” In this state, hormone balance improves, muscles release tension, and emotional processing becomes easier.

Modern research shows hypnosis can reduce pain perception, anxiety, and stress hormones - all key contributors to menstrual discomfort, menopause symptoms, and post-partum changes. It also strengthens self-regulation, helping women feel more in tune with their bodies rather than at odds with them. At CE-Hypnosis, this approach is enhanced by more therapy methods that are practical, compassionate, and science-based - supporting women to rediscover confidence, calm, and balance through life’s natural cycles.

Giving birth with minimum pain

YES - you read that right! Hypnosis is amazing for giving birth with minimum pain, and a beautiful awareness instead. It is called Hypno-birthing. Although I have some education in this, I do not practice it. But I truly suggest you find someone as soon as you know you are pregnant to give more or less a birth with minimum discomfort. My colleagues explain that the body will adapt and heal faster too. Once in labour it is too late to practice, practionors will let you know more details.

In short

Hypnotherapy provides the missing bridge between mind and body - teaching your system how to rest, recover, and rebuild.
For many women it offers a practical natural way to make healthy changes.

Experience gentle, research-based hypnotherapy for women’s health with CE-Hypnosis. Calm PMS, ease menopause, lift post-partum mood, and restore inner balance - naturally and safely.

Endometriosis & Pain

I've been suffering with Endometriosis pain for the past decade that happen during ovulation and my monthly menstruation/period. I've had multiple surgeries to try to alleviate pain and as most people with Endometriosis know, it is a complex full-body disease with very little treatments available so surgeries only give so much relief for so long. I've also struggled immensely with horrible mental side affects from hormonal birth control, so this wasn't an option for me.

On my journey to healing, I looked up lots of studies around diet and supplements (which have helped), I also found lots of research about how stress and nervous system function can impact pain, inflammation and hormones. Determined in combating Endo, I combined my lifestyle changes with mental and emotional ones too - god knows that having endo has really impacted on my mental health.

Camilla helped me find my inner calm and provided me with tools to find that calm in moments of stress so I could really focus on regulating my nervous system and lowering that cortisol. Hypnosis helped me uncover root emotional causes so that I could feel a lot of peace in my life now. After lots of inner healing I have a more regulated nervous system and genuinely my pain has significantly improved - I know Camilla helped immensely because when I am used to be in times of stress, my pain flares. It just shows me how important it is to be in that state of calm and working on the subconscious is the way to get there.

Thank you Camilla for being gentle, compassionate, nurturing and understanding of my illness and helping me through it.

Changed PMS and more

I can hardly understand it - but what a difference!

I've battled with the most severe kind of PMS, anxiety, and mood swings, terrible pain, and bleeding all of it so intense that sometimes I couldn't even make it to work. I dreaded each month's ordeal, and it wasn't just me, but my boyfriend dreaded it too.

After just two sessions, there was an enormous change. The pain has subsided to a manageable discomfort, and the heavy bleeding has been greatly reduced.

But it's more than that; my overwhelming anxiety, irritation, and mood swings have transformed, allowing me to channel my energy into something I enjoy. Camilla encouraged me to find a way to relieve my stress and tension, and I chose cycling, something I've always loved doing. And now, thanks to this simple yet significant change, I can have a quality of life I never thought possible. It truly is a positive change for life.

Investing in this change was the best decision I've ever made. I wholeheartedly recommend Camilla. Her approach is different and truly worth trying, It's a leap of faith worth taking, because things can only get better from here.

What does an Hypnotherapy session look like?

Working together at CE-Hypnosis is gentle, professional, and personal. You remain in control at all times - aware, and safe.

1. Conversation & mapping:
We explore your story, typical triggers and view possible short term goals and longterm goals.

2. Guided hypnotic relaxation:
You remain aware and in charge while the body settles into a receptive state many describe as “comfortable, rested but focused.” Which also is very healthy for your mind.

3. The therapy work:
From the mapping (the therapy work itself) to using many different tools to make changes whilst you are comfortable relaxed.

4. Response re-learning:
We use targeted suggestions and sensory imagery to re-pair familiar triggers with new interpretations, so your system practices staying steady.

5. Visualization & suggestive support:
Visuals (e.g. different scenarios) and suggestions are used to reinforce new response patterns.

6. Homework between sessions or sensory exercises depending on your energy level and memory:

Short home practices help you reinforce change. Adding personalised tips for different issues.

7. Follow-up:
Measure what’s changing, and optimize your path forward in the right pace (not stress).

While conscious, talk-based therapy works mainly through rational understanding and discussion, hypnotherapy engages both the conscious and subconscious mind - the part of you that runs emotional, automatic, and habitual responses.

This difference often makes change faster, deeper, and more natural.

Difficulties in connecting with my child

I have had a strange and embarrasing issue connecting with my child. Even if I try, I cannot find or feel the connection. It has been bothering me so much and I have felt like a terrible mother. Lot's of guilt and shame and I have never told anyone, not even my husband, except Camilla.

After 2 sessions I cannot believe the difference! Honestly... it was magical.

I truly enjoy the connection now with my child, our relationship somehow is blossoming and I really wished I had heard about Camilla before so that I could have saved precious time.

Thank you so so very much. From us both. You made a huge difference.

My PMS decreased drastically

I have suffered from both mood swings and pain and heavy bleeding, which unfortunately also affected my family. It was so bad that I could hardly go to work for the first 1-2 days. It was terrible!

After 3 sessions, the bleeding has decreased significantly and it is easier to manage. I no longer bleed through at night and I don't panic anymore when I have to go somewhere because the bleeding has decreased.

What a huge difference. It's amazing that hypnotherapy could help so much.

I chose to change my irritations to focus on cleaning that day. It was great! Effective and then it feels really good, so I can enjoy to relax afterwards.

I now have no problem going to work and have almost forgotten how difficult it was before.

A big heartfelt THANK YOU!!!! Such an incredible difference.

The Mind-Body Science behind Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy

Modern neuroscience confirms what many women intuitively feel - the mind and body are in constant dialogue. Thoughts, emotions, and hormones all influence the nervous system, which in turn affects how we experience pain, mood, and physical wellbeing. During hypnotherapy, the brain naturally enters a focused yet deeply relaxed state (similar to the transition between wakefulness and sleep).

In this state, stress hormones such as cortisol decrease, while parasympathetic activity - the body’s built-in “healing mode” - increases.

Studies using brain imaging show that hypnosis can change activity in areas linked to pain perception, emotional regulation, and autonomic control. That’s why many women experience improvements not just in mood and calmness, but also in cycle comfort, hot-flush frequency, sleep quality, and emotional resilience.

Hypnotherapy doesn’t override biology — it helps it work better, restoring the natural rhythm between body, mind, and emotion.

From menstrual pain and mood swings to postpartum stress, baby blues and menopause transitions, hypnotherapy can help you feel more in control of your emotional and physical wellbeing. Together, we’ll build a steadier baseline, calmer mind–body connection, and lasting balance through every stage of womanhood.

I do not treat or cure diseases, and I do not work with cancer, mental illnesses, or severe depression; in such cases, I refer clients to medical care. What I can help you with is changing and managing various triggers, behaviours and emotions - which may have the positive side effect of improving physical well-being - or learning to handle reactions differently (e.g., to pollen, emotions, behaviours, pain, etc.).
